Google is buying a Finnish mill site from Stora Enso for €40m.
Both companies have agreed that part of the Summa mill site will be further transferred to the City of Hamina for other industrial uses.
Paper producton at Summa ended in January 2008, with Stora Enso deciding not to resume operations.
Google is expected to announce its investment plans for the site in due course.
