The new premises, on a former RAF base near Stroud, will allow Laminated Wood to stock glulam beams up to 27m in length, as well as providing the company with more room to prepare and store products.

The move to the new location is to be coupled with an upgrade in the firm’s machinery, including a new semi-automated cross-cutting machine, which could not have been housed at the previous site.

However, a spokesperson for the company noted that the new location was only temporary and that they would be moving to another building on the former RAF base in August.
