Glulam was the choice for the replacement parish centre of Our Lady of the Angels in Erith, Kent.

The previous 75-year-old hall was demolished as it was considered too small and not energy efficient.

Pinelog Ltd built the timber frame structure with glulam columns, curved beams and trusses, giving a vaulted roof style in the main hall. The building is faced externally with blockwork and render while the roof is GRP.

Facilities at the Angelus Centre include a 150-seat hall, a children’s group facility, three meeting rooms, kitchen, bar and toilets.
