The German Timber Trade Federation says the prospects are looking good for its biennial exhibition, the Branchentag Holz.

The show takes place in the Rhein Main Hallen in Wiesbaden on October 16 and 17 and the organisers say they’ve already had a “good number of exhibitor registrations”.

“It will be a key event for all those involved in timber trading, importing and manufacturing,” said a fair statement.

The show will be organised along product lines, with areas dedicated to flooring, doors, construction timber and outdoor wood products. The latter has been expanded this year thanks to rising demand, with the German outdoor wood products market growing 5% last year.

Visitors can register on the show website, www. branchentag.de.
