About 350 exhibitors have already booked to attend the Dach + Holz (Roof & Timber) International exhibition in Cologne.
Spread across four halls, the event at Koelnmesse on February 24-27 is aiming for about 500 exhibitors.
Last year’s event attracted 554 exhibitors and 48,300 visitors.
Companies booked to exhibit include Steico, Ante-Holz, Pavatex (woodfibre insulation), Pfleiderer, Pinus, MH MassivHolz, Weinmann, Mayr-Melnhof, Ladenburger, Kronoply, Klenk Holz, KLH, Inthermo, Fermacell, Haas Holzindustrie, Hans Hundegger and Leitz.
Dieter Dohr, managing director of event organiser GHM, said it aimed to target the range of show products and services even more closely to the needs of visitors.
“That means in practice we will be stepping up coverage of current themes in roofing and carpentry, such as thermal insulation and innovative technologies for roofs, walls, timber construction and interior works,” he said.
The event, sponsored by the Confederation of German Master Carpenters (BDZ) and Central Association of the German Roofing Trade, is aimed at carpenters, roofers, architects, developers and engineers.
