George Barnsdale & Sons Ltd has supplied the timber used in the construction of a pergola as part of the Improving Donington’s Environment for All (IDEA) project.

The wooden structure, which forms part of a new park designed to offer a safe environment for children in Donington, is the latest development from IDEA, which was set up to “improve pride and prosperity” and to “encourage the provision of services and amenities to meet the needs of all” in Donington.

Stephen Wright, the managing director of George Barnsdale, is also chairman of IDEA and, according to the timber door, window and stair manufacturer, has helped the company undertake “ a lot of work for this project”.
