The Forest Stewardship Council-UK Working Group has established a partnership with Forestworld to improve access to information on certified timber.
US-based Forestworld will host and maintain FSC-UK’s official database (previously known as Forestracker) of companies and operations around the world which hold FSC certification.
Users will be able to access the database on FSC-UK’s website, www.fsc-uk.demon.co.uk.
Anna Jenkins, FSC-UK director, said: ‘Fast, up-to-date information on FSC-certified forests and timber supplies is the life-blood of all our work.’
