Organisers of the Carrefour International du Bois (International Timber Tradeshow) in France are gearing up for the 2008 event.
The 10th edition of the show will take place in Nantes at the Beaujoire exhibtion centre on May 28-30.
Organisers Atlanbois and the Nantes Saint-Nazaire port authority said the timber construction industry is booming in France and the rest of Europe.
To meet the demands of building specifiers and construction professionals, the successful timber techniques and solutions area, first featured at the 2006 event, will be further developed. The area will feature innovations and trends in timber construction products.
The 2006 show featured some 468 exhibitors and 9,050 trade visitors.
