Closed panel timber frame manufacturer Framework CDM has been acquired after being in administration for a short while.
The Chesterfield-based company has been bought by MWB Associates, an investment company set up to buy construction sector companies.
Framework CDM had enjoyed a full order book with a string of prestigious contracts behind it, but cash flow problems had left it facing financial difficulties, so it called in administrators BDO Stoy Hayward.
The company has now been renamed Framework Building Systems and has a new managing director, Tony Wasikowski.
Previous contracts have included a new café for the Royal Horticultural Society and flooring cassettes for the British Antarctic Survey’s new base at Halley Bay.
