US forestry management company Fountain Forestry Inc will open a new office in Virginia following forestland acquisitions by two institutional investors.
The office will serve West Virginia, Virginia and Kentucky, increasing total US forest management by Fountain to about 300,000 acres and including Central Appalachian species such as oak, hickory and black walnut.
Fountain, established in 1980, specialises in hardwood management, forestry investment, valuation and marketing.
