Junckers solid oak flooring has been installed throughout the Foundling Museum, which opened as London’s first art gallery in 1739.
The 22m Oak Classic flooring was laid by Floorcraft Contractors (London) Ltd in the new galleries and other public areas as part of the museum’s refurbishment. Project architect Jestico + Whiles specified the product for its “natural good looks” and durability in high traffic locations.
