International forestry consultancy FORM International is under new ownership.
Koninklijke Houthandel G Wijma & Zonen BC (Wijma) has divested ownership of the company to new managing director Paul Hol – a move it said will strengthen FORM’s position as an independent forestry consultancy.
Through its independence, FORM aims to expand and specialise in the fiields of sustainable forest management, certification forestry training and timber plantation investment.
FORM is currently finalising the certification of Wijma in Cameroon to Forest Stewardship Council standards and is guiding other certification projects in Cameroon, Gabon, the Central African Republic and Indonesia.
