Forest Garden plc has restructured to create two brand-focused operational divisions to serve its major customer bases – multiples and independents – separately.

Since its amalgamation with LarchLap in 1999 Forest Garden had supplied all its customers as a larger combined entity – but has now realised it needs to respond to them in equally different ways.

Forest Garden chief executive Simon Ashton said: “The changes we are making are intended to align ourselves more closely to the markets we serve. Our aim is to support the differing needs and aspirations of these markets in a more targeted, personal and appropriate way.”
