Leading UK fencing and garden products manufacturer Forest Garden says it has reached its 100% Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification target for its entire product range.
“This is a unique position for Forest to be in and we have been striving to reach this goal for a number of years,” said John Gomersall, Forest sales and marketing director.
“We have worked closely with our raw material suppliers to ensure that FSC-certified timber has always been our preference.”
All of the company’s product range, including garden buildings, arbours and landscaping timber, will carry the FSC logo.
The company has a sawmilling operation at Lockerbie and a manufacturing and distribution centre in Hartlebury.
