A forest fire in central Spain has claimed the lives of at least 11 firefighters and three civilians.
Around 500 people were evacuated from four villages after the blaze broke out in a nature reserve, quickly spreading to scorch thousands of hectares in the Guadalajara area east of Madrid.
Other fires have occurred in Puertollano and Zamora province, both in central Spain which is suffering its worst drought for 60 years.
