Forest fires in Cyprus have forced the evacuation of about 1,000 people.
The southern end of the Troodos mountains is the worst affected area, with a heatwave and strong winds fanning the flames. The villages of Kalavasos and Asgata are the latest to be affected.
Planes from other countries have been called in to help fight the fires on the pine-clad slopes.
The blazes started in late June.
