What is claimed to be the UK’s first sanding and finishing course has been added to Floorboards Ltd’s range of training programmes – and it is already over subscribed.
Due to take place in March, the course shows how to set a sander, the selection of the correct paper and the correct sequence. The application of finishing products such as oils and urethanes is also covered.
Training includes sanding unfinished floors, how to avoid chatter marks, how to sand existing chatter marks from floors and how to use edgers.
Other courses include one-and two-day hardwood flooring courses and a one-day laminate flooring course, all headed up by Floorboards’ training and technical manager Sid Bourne.
