The organisers of the National Floor Show expect more wooden floor companies than ever to exhibit at this year’s event in Harrogate.
Last year 27 timber floor companies took part and 10 have already signed up for 2004 – six months in advance of the September 7-9 exhibition.
The organisers said 77% of the space is already sold with 150 exhibitors including Egger Floor Products Ltd and Kaindl, so far taking up stands.
Meanwhile February’s Floorspace/Contract Floor Show held at Olympia Two, London, saw visitor numbers rise 23% on 2003 from 612 to 751.
Hardwood floors remained prominent with 14 companies taking part – one up on last year’s 13.
