The creation of a separate fit-out division last year has proved a money-spinner for family-owned contractor Wates.
The company has nearly doubled its fit-out turnover and believes it will reach its £100m target by 2003.
The division, Wates Interiors, took £75m of the fit-out market in the year to December 31 compared with £43m in 1999.
