Marks & Spencer’s first new “green” store features Medite’s FSC-certified Ecologique MDF panels.
The material, chosen for its BREEAM A-rated status, was used for interiors at the 70,000ft² Glasgow store.
Ecologique was also specified because of its formaldehyde-free status.
Coillte Panel Products, which runs the Medite business, said Eologique was being specified more frequently as eco-building becomes more prevalent.
