Finnforest (UK) Ltd has appointed Gipping Occupational Health as a health and safety consultant to its workforce.
The move is part of the company’s continuing drive to ensure health and safety of employees and to implement industry best practice in line with Health & Safety Executive recommendations.
Occupational health assessments on forklift truck drivers aged 40 and over will be the initial focus, together with employees working nights as part of their shift pattern. Forklift drivers under 40 will be assessed upon reaching that age.
All future new employees will participate in the programme by completing an occupational health questionnaire, followed by assessments.
