The Renewable Resources – Sustainable Future forum will take place in Helsinki on November 2 during Finland’s EU presidency.
The event will gather together international decision-makers and opinion leaders who are centrally involved in the sustainable use of renewable natural resources.
Discussions will touch on forests and wood as an illustration of a renewable natural resource with potential in construction, energy, environment and rural development. An excursion focusing on wood in construction and energy production will follow the forum.
Organisations behind the event include the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Finnish Forest Industries Federation, Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners, Finnish Forest Foundation and Finnish Forest Association.
