Oak floorboards coated with an ‘invisible’ finish by BonaKemi have been installed in a new Korean art gallery at the British Museum.

The 180mm wide and 20mm thick European oak boards, laid to a traditional Korean pattern, were given coats of Bona Tech Prime and BonaTech Traffic (100% polyurethane lacquer) to highlight the grain but provide a totally matt finish.

Durability is particularly important for the museum which is visited by between five and six million people a year.
