A shortlist of 23 entries across seven categories has been drawn up to compete in Interbuild‘s inaugural New Products Awards.

More than 100 innovations were put forward for judging and the seven section winners will compete for the top prize of best overall product.

Michael Ankers, panel chairman and chief executive of the Construction Products Association, said the number and the quality of exciting and innovative new products submitted meant judges found it difficult to identify category winners and the best overall product.

The seven product categories are: lighting and electrical; interior; exterior; on-site; civils; energy efficiency; disability access.

The award winners will be announced on the second day of Interbuild which takes place on April 25-29 at the NEC, Birmingham.
