The UK Woodland Assurance Standard (UKWAS) is calling for feedback on the third and final phase of the three-year revision of its certification standard.
UKWAS provides the certification standard used for certification by the two leading global forest certification schemes – FSC and PEFC.
“The Steering Group has now analysed the feedback received from the consultation held in December and January and made further changes to the draft UKWAS standard to produce a pre-approval draft for a final round of consultation,” said UKWAS executive chairman Peter Wilson.
Feedback must be received by May 31. All documents, including a feedback form, are available at www.ukwas.org.uk.
The UKWAS third edition is expected to be available for use in November.
