The owners sold after 26 years to allow more time for retirement.
Director Mike Self said: “We have been fortunate in finding a most suitable buyer for the business. We are pleased AVS places a high importance on maintaining the team and further relationships with customers and suppliers.”
AVS opened in 1993 and has branches primarily in the Sussex and Hampshire area with sites in Peterborough and Braintree.
Sales and marketing director Nick Summers said: “This is another chapter for AVS as we continue to go from strength to strength.”
