Arranged over three levels with connecting stairs and a balustrade perimeter, the maintenance-free terrace has been built using heavy-duty decking boards, specially designed and engineered to hold up to 1,000 people at any one time.
Specialised fitting techniques meant the decking was completed within four weeks, resulting in minimal disruption to the client.
Jacksons Fencing managing director Richard Jackson said he expected more businesses to opt for decked areas to “revolutionise their external working areas”.
“With work-life balance top of most business agendas, the general consensus seems to be that, if employees feel comfortable at work, there’s a beneficial impact for the whole company,” he said.
