The international joinery products manufacturer has offered FSC products at its UK and French operations for many years, but this has now been extended to all of its sites in Europe.
Christian Frisk, JELD-WEN’s European European chief compliance officer, said the multi-site certificate also put the company well on its way to being ready for the new EU Timber Regulation which comes into force in March next year.
Peter Feilberg, CEO of auditing company NEPCon, said: "As JELD-WEN is a key supplier to the construction sector, I am convinced that this move will help place certified wood products more firmly on the sustainable building agenda."
