The Malaysian manufacturer of Lionvest Trading (UK) Ltd’s Ekowood engineered hardwood flooring range has gained ISO 9001 quality status.
The award follows a steady process of improvements in the Gopeng-based factory’s manufacturing systems and techniques while being monitored by the certifying body.
The ISO 9001 standard covers both of Lionvest’s three-strip Ekowood branded products and the one-strip Ekoplank range. They will now carry the UKAS and CL logos.
The company recently passed the half-million metre mark for UK sales of Ekowood.
