The company manufactures and installs its ModCell pre-fabricated straw bale walling and roofing system and 2012 had been busy, according to architect Craig White.
"It’s been an interesting time pushing this build method through in the teeth of the economic challenge but we’re very pleased with the way projects are going," he said.
"In 2012 we delivered two schools, a visitor centre and a 20-strong housing scheme. The houses, for LILAC Co-housing in Leeds, are three storeys – possibly the tallest straw bale house building so far."
Mr White said he thought Ecobuild was quieter than in previous years but that visitor interest had been good.
"There seem to be many more international visitors and exhibitors here so there’s no doubt about the reach of the show," he said.
