The value of e-business to the forestry and timber industries will be explained at a conference backed by Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Forest Industries Cluster.
The first e-Business for Forestry Conference will involve a mix of presentations and workshops focusing on the potential of the internet, new developments in technology and several case studies including Nexfor and Finnforest who will speak about its impact on their supply chains.
The event is aimed at anybody involved in the forest industry, from growers, to harvesters, hauliers, processors and retailers. It will be held on November 27 at Hilton Dunblane Hydro.
