Renewables company Dulas Ltd has made it easier for consumers to switch to wood energy.

The Welsh company has set up an

energy supply business which instals wood-fuelled boilers and systems and looks after their day-to-day running.

Andrew Davies, the Welsh Assembly’s economic development minister, was among the first to see a Dulas-installed and managed 35kW woodchip boiler at the Forestry Commission Wales’ new Bwlch Nant yr Arian visitor centre near Aberystwyth.

The system, which will reduce carbon emissions by 22.7 tonnes a year, will help provide jobs and build up the wood fuel infrastructure in the area.
