Donaldson Timber Engineering (DTE) has announced two key additions to its management team.
At its Ilkeston Derbyshire facility, Luke Roberts has been appointed as I-joist manager. For Mr Roberts, who has 10 years’ experience in I-joist design and sales, the challenge is to double our I-joist turnover from the site.
“Our growth will come from the Crest Nicholson Group contract we have won, an ever expanding timber frame market, and our existing large regional and national house builder customer base,” he said.
At DTE’s Ipswich facility, Andy Popham has been appointed general manager. He was previously operations manager for a timber frame company. His plans for a one-stop shop for structural engineered roofs and floors includes introducing lines such as insulation and open web metal joists to DTE Ipswich’s product mix.
