Following retirements and internal promotions Dr Wolman GmbH in Germany has made some new appointments.

Dr Ralf Schulz has been appointed vice-president of BASF Group’s wood preservation business and at the same time has taken up the position of managing director and chairman of Dr Wolman GmbH.

Dr Schulz has worked for the BASF Group in various capacities both in Germany and abroad for 15 years. His most recent position was in Asia where he spent six years at BASF East Asia Headquarters in Hong Kong.

Wendelin Hettler has also been appointed managing director of Dr Wolman GmbH. A wood preservation expert, he has worked for the company for 26 years.

On the sales side, Dr Mihael Boras has taken on the role of sales director, while his former position of northern/western Europe regional sales manager has been filled by Florian Kuhnen. Mr Kuhnen has joined Dr Wolman from BASF’s Construction Chemicals Division and will be working closely with the UK sales and marketing team as well as sales teams in Scandinavia, the Baltics and western Europe.
