Timber doorset manufacturer Hanson & Beards Ltd has achieved the BM TRADA Q-Mark for enhanced security doorsets en route to Secured by Design (SBD) certification.
The Halifax-based company developed the Anosecure FD30 doorset, which targets apartment entrance locations, to meet both the Q-Mark and SBD certification.
Director Adrian Hanson said achieving the Q-Mark had brought additional benefits, including the ability of customers to now purchase more of their door and doorset requirements from a single source.
“The Q-Mark gives independent assurance of quality and consistency in manufacture to our clients, especially in the public sector,” he said.
Hanson & Beards has a £2m annual turnover and was established 37 years ago.
