The LS Group has given students tours of its door manufacturing facilities as part of National Construction Week 2004.
The Nottingham-based company gave the 44 students, aged 14-18 and all local to its three manufacturing sites, a wide view of construction by holding theoretical and interactive sessions, as well as the tours.
A dramatic fire test proved the most popular feature, together with ballistics samples of bullets trapped in glass and door frames which have stopped shotgun blasts.
