Traditionally the TTF president has been succeeded by the vice-president, but Mr Tong’s vice-president Mark Plews, managing director of UCM plc, has decided to accept the nomination for the post of treasurer to succeed Charles Sherborne, joint managing director of Sydenhams Ltd.
The election of TTF officers will take place at the annual general meeting on June 14.
