Domotex 2012 has seen a double-digit surge in visitor numbers, organisers said as the show ended in Hannover yesterday.
Organiser Deutsche Messe described the show, which ran from January 14-17, as a great success, with a “thoroughly upbeat mood in all our halls”.
It said 45,000 visitors attended the event, the world’s leading floor coverings event, to see 1,371 exhibitors.
Two halls were given over to solid wood, engineered wood and laminate flooring, with a new area for decking and other outdoor products.
Market leaders in the parquet and laminate sector displayed their innovations at the first Wood Flooring Summit.
