The congregation of St George’s church in Poynton wanted something a little different for their new church hall, so they opted for a design by Derbyshire-based Pinelog Ltd.
The company, which specialises in buildings manufactured mainly from Scandinavian redwood, submitted plans for a timber-frame building with the roof line running from corner to corner.
The hall has an internal split log finish and the diagonal design has allowed for additional space.
