RTG has completed a merger with Hupex Management Forestry Assets Ltd and a takeover of a Chinese operation run by Universe On International Ltd.
The deals will create one of Russia’s largest timber groups with access to 2.7 million ha of forest and felling rights for more than 3.5 million m3.
