Joinery companies are being urged to act fast to benefit from a grant which will slash the cost of achieving ISO 9001 or chain of custody certification,

Small member companies of the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) only have until October 31 to benefit from the ConstructionSkills Management & Supervisory Development Programme grant.

The special grant, secured by the BWF’s WITForum, will cover the consultancy fees involved in achieving the certification– a saving of almost 50% on the total cost.

“As this is a time limited offer, it is a genuine case of apply now to avoid disappointment,” said Richard Lambert, BWF chief executive.

The BWF’s Total Support Services is handling the grant process. Visit www.bwf.org.uk for more details or call 0870 458 6952.
