The Crown Estate has been accredited for the second time for its commitment to sustainable woodland management by certifying body SGS Qualifor.
First accredited in 2000, the Crown Estate woodlands throughout Britain have been re-certified until 2010 under the UK Woodland Assurance Scheme.
To maintain its certified status, the Crown Estate must undertake regular independent monitoring audits of its woodland management practice.
