The latest wood for good members’ day saw 35 representatives from across the timber industry come together to discuss key topics for the campaign, including CPD, online learning and the 2007 programme.
Held by Sykes Timber Ltd in Warwickshire, the July 4 meeting saw The Timber Trade Federation, SCA Timber Ltd, BSW Timber, Osmose, Ventrolla Ltd and 19 other organisations listening to talks covering topics such as the Olympics and advertising and swappng ideas and information.
Attendees also discussed wood for good’s five main projects – timber frame, distribution, specification, Timcon and life cycle assessment, with the members, with wood for good saying that members were ” generally satisfied with the campaign’s strategy and activities”.
