Crocodile Packaging Ltd has developed a new timber-based solution to simplify export packing for a gas-assisted moulding equipment supplier.
Swindon-based Crocodile developed its 11mm OSB “One Trip” packaging system for Middlewich-based Cinpres Gas Injection Ltd.
Cinpres said its former OSB crates were difficult to nail together, bulky to store and costly, while corrugated pallet boxes left its equipment susceptible to damage in transit.
It said Crocodile’s ISPM 15-compliant solution, which includes foam for additional protection, had significantly reduced export shipping costs.
