Companies in the timber trade are being invited to adopt a new performance regime introduced by the Construction Products Association.
The new initiative gets companies to set targets for improving a range of key performance indicators – from customer satisfaction and product quality to after-sales service and health and safety at work. The improvements are said to result in better production efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The CPA says that 10 com-panies have signed up for the initiative but was not willing to reveal their names.
