A move to stamp out the ‘blame culture’ that exists between the various arms of the UK construction industry has been mooted by the Construction Products Association (CPA) through its new Network Club.

Representatives from suppliers, manufacturers, architects, contractors and clients attended the last meeting and agreed to use the club as a forum to deal with poor working practices.

‘The club is an ideal forum to eliminate procedures that stop innovation and best practice,’ said CPA policy development executive Rita Singh. ‘The aim is to establish closer working relationships between manufacturers, suppliers and customers.’
