PRS Management Depot UK Ltd, which manufactures about 800,000-900,000 pallets a year, is now set to appeal against Kidderminster council’s decision.

Residents living near PRS’s site had protested that the extra pallet stacks would be an eyesore.

“The decision was totally unfair and will cost us around £100,000 in lost revenue and business,” said Brian Worton, PRS managing director.

“We cannot afford to stay here any longer and will have to consider re-locating. This would mean the loss of 23 jobs.”
