Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) UK is running three competitions to promote the world’s forests and the role of certification.

The series of contests includes a poster competition for 7-11 year olds, a poetry competition for 11-18 year olds, and a photography competition open to all ages.

The main aim of the contests is to get people to look for the certification body’s logo, with photographic entries intended to capture FSC-certified forests and products and showcase their importance “to raise public awareness of the importance of FSC”.

FSC-certified retailers have supplied prizes for the contest, including gift vouchers and garden products from B&Q and Marks & Spencer, books from HarperCollins and FSC-branded sports equipment.
