Around 300 companies are expected to showcase their latest products and services at the 27th Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition – EXPO 2003 – to be held at Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Centre on June 25-27, 2003.

An extensive display of forest products machinery, equipment, technology and services representing the full range of forest products will be on show, including lumber, structural panels, engineered wood products, pallets, treating and secondary processing.

There is an air of confident optimism about the economic future of both the nation and the industry. Exposition director Tami Kessler said: “Companies are signing up to exhibit at this show, not wanting to miss the industry’s upturn when it happens.”

There will also be educational opportunites on offer to attendees, with 20 technical seminars co-sponsored by the Forest Products Society and the Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA) during the three days of the show.
