The Furniture Industry Strategy Group (FISG) has had to postpone its furniture conference planned for November 17.
FISG chairman Martin Jourdan said it hoped to organised another event early next year.
He added: “We will still be publishing our interim report on November 17 and in the meantime will be seeking the views of trade associations and other interested parties to the recommendations it contains.”
Views on how specific activities will be taken forward in the longer term will form the basis of the FISG’s action plan to be published in March next year.
